GREEK SHIPMASTERS WANT TURKISH BAKLAVA

ARK ISTANBUL SHIP CHANDLERYGreeks like anchovy and Arabs like baklava a lot.  The Turkish are visited by approximately 400 thousand vessels each year. The chandlers purchased by such ships for their personnel show their tastes.  In my opinion, Arab sailors like Turkish delight and cezerye whereas Greek sailors like anchovy a lot.  In parallel with the development of the maritime sector in Turkey, there were important increases in the turnovers of ship chandlery companies that provide materials to the foreign vessels. There are 4 agencies affiliated and 28 no – agency agencies affiliated currently operating in our harbours. Within the framework of the agencies operating in Istanbul, the authorities of ARK Istanbul Chandlery indicate that they sell materials to vessels arriving from different countries such as Costa Rica, Greece, Italia, Germany and Norway. НЕДОБРОСОВЕСТНАЯ КОНКУРЕНЦИЯ МЕШАЕТ СНАБЖЕНЦАМ СУДОВ  Председатель правления компании «Albatros Uluslararası Kumanyacılık» Ахмет Шимшек, осуществляющий не только снабжение судов продовольствием, но и предоставляющий услуги по технической поддержки, жалуется на недобросовестную конкуренцию. Шимшек одновременно является членом Профессионального Комитета Снабженцев продовольствием при Морской Торговой Палате. Он считает, что все компании, желающие заняться снабжением судов, должны проходить тщательную проверку и соответствовать установленным критериям. МЕЛКИЕ ФИРМЫ ПОРТЯТ НАШ ИМИДЖКроме указанного Шимшек отметил следующее: «Фирмы должны быть надежными, должно вносить гарантийные суммы и быть членами палаты. Лица, не являющиеся членами палаты, к сожалению легко проникают на суда и представляются снабженцами продовольствия. В результате некомпетентности этих лиц, капитаны судов начинают с опаской смотреть на турецких снабженцев. Это очень сильно бьет по нашим позициям. Об этих проблемах мы всегда говорим на собраниях в Морской Торговой Палате. Иногда, когда оказываемся в безвыходной ситуации, мы также обращаемся в министерства или в главное таможенное управление в Анкаре. СНАБЖЕНЦЫ, РАБОТАЮЩИЕ С АГЕНТАМИ ПО ДОГОВОРУ, НАХОДЯТСЯ В ВЫГОДНОМ ПОЛОЖЕНИИС вопросом о наличии недобросовестной конкуренции, мы обратились к представителю компании ARK İstanbul Хакану Кахраману, который заявил следующее: «Эта проблема касается маленьких фирм, работающих по договору. Естественно, проблема возникает в случае ограниченной работы с одними и теми же клиентами. Если товар отпускается по более низким ценам, никто не имеет права обвинять в этом ни продавца ни покупателя. В глобальном мире логика защиты бездейственна. Необходимо стимулировать процесс привлечения из-за рубежа новых клиентов и расширение рынка. Государство должно принимать меры по предотвращению продажи по низким ценам, которые дают отечественные фирмы.  Представитель ARK Avrupa Исаак Карен, указывает следующее: «Если взять пример Греции, то местные производители, отпускающие товар снабженцам судов, имеют большие привилегии. В частности они платят меньше налогов. От этого выигрывает как производитель и снабженец, так и государство. 80 % рынка контролируют греческие снабженцы. Считаем, что конца этим спорам не будет. Но о реальности не уйти. ARK ISTANBUL EUROPE HAS COMMENCED OPERATIONS IN THE TUZLA FREE ZONE

ARK Istanbul Ship Chandlery is one of Turkey’s leading companies in the fields of cruise and in maritime affairs. Hakan Kahraman, who is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of this company that achieved many successes in its field, stated that they thought the Turkish maritime sector should be far ahead compared to its current status.
